Welcome/Pjila'si
The Violet Rose Gift & Thrift Shop is a new program of the After Trauma Empowerment Network (ATEN) and was established for several reasons:
  1. To raise money to support the operation for service delivery of the After Trauma Empowerment Network.
  2. To provide a service to the community by providing access to quality used items and clothing affordable prices to individuals and families.
  3. To provide a venue for local artisans, crafters and creators to display and sell their works of art.
We accept donations such as clothing, footwear, books, records, cds, toys, small household items (i.e., coffee maker, blender, sewing machine, lamps, etc.), dishes, ornaments/trinkets, pictures/artwork, musical instruments, sporting goods, jewerly, and small-medium sized items. Due to space limitations, we are not able to accept large items like coaches, chairs, appliances, beds, tables, desks, etc.
All profits from the Violet Rose Gift & Thrift Shop
are donated to ATEN to help and empower
those who have experienced trauma.
The Violet Rose Gift & Thrift Shop employs one staff person and relies on volunteers for operation. Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances, including retired persons, long-term volunteers, newcomers, students, youth and we are extremely grateful to all of our volunteers who give of their time and energy to help  ATEN and their community.
